ELDER SERVICE PROVIDERS LUNCHEONS

Luncheons are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club from 11:30-1:00.

Each month, a member organization sponsors the meeting and invites a speaker to share information on topics relevant to serving seniors in our community. There are networking opportunities and great door prizes!

Please RSVP no later than the Friday before each luncheon. This ensures that we order the appropriate amount of food. You may pay for tickets online up to the Monday before the luncheon by RSVPing using the form on the right.

The price is $16 and payments and RSVP's must be made online.

Want to order more than one ticket? Simply change the quantity when you are adding the product to your cart or during the order review page.

Please keep in mind that you may attend one meeting as a visitor before joining. Previous members may attend once as a visitor, and then we will ask you to join again as a new member.

Domestic Violence Support for staff and Residents

Karen Burke, Executive Director for DVSASS since 2007, has spent the last 28 years advocating for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault and working to dismantle the systems that allow these oppressions to happen. As the Executive Director she has tripled the size of the agency and expanded programs across the county to ensure all survivors are getting the help they need.

Karen will be speaking about the organization and how to share information with caregivers who may be in domestic violence situations. She’ll also bring awareness that many of our seniors may be survivors of DV situations and how to best support those individuals who come from or are currently dealing with this in their lives.
